Try Short Mat Bowls at Cowplain Activity Centre, for a friendly welcome, good company and some laughs.

The game of Short Mat Bowls is played with full sized bowls on a green mat 45' long and 6' wide.

We have 8 mats so there is never any one waiting for a game.  Bowls are provided without charge.

There is no keen competition; therefore, there is no stress

Beginners and people of all ages and abilities are welcome.

We are a Community Activity Group - not a club.  Just turn up for any session with a pair of shoes without heals - or slippers.

A session lasts for approximately two and half hours with a break for tea/coffee/biscuit.  The cost per session is £2.50 per person.

Session times are Monday 10.00 am, Wednesday and Thursday 1.30 pm.
