Cowplain Day Nursery
About us
We offer choice, variety, opportunities for independence, exploration, support and encouragement for children aged 2 years to 8 years.
There are 5 outcomes required by Ofsted * Being Healthy * Staying Safe * Enjoying and Achieving * Making a positive contribution * Organising
Cowplain Day Nursery will make sure your child has the highest standard of care and by doing so, as part of the curriculum required by Ofsted we will ensure they are met by the highest standard.
The Needs of the individual and their family are important and therefore every child is allocated a key person.
Sandra and her team believe that it is of paramount importance that there is a high level of consistency between nursery and home life and that family values are respected.
Areas of Learning
At Cowplain Day Nursery we encourage learning through play, experiences and fun. We have created a high quality of continuous provision which enables the child to have access to a wide range of activities, resources and learning opportunities indoors and outdoors.
Through careful planning using the Birth to Three matters and the foundation stage curriculum (3-5 years old), activities are provided on a daily basis which support the childs individual needs.
The Nursery has use of the sports hall within the Activity Centre, using the parachute, large inflatable ball, balancing bars, all activities which enhance their co-ordination.
